 VACATION 1997
Revised Summer 1998 August first 1997 I started my vacation. I flew from Miami to London – and from there to Stockholm. I never visited Scandinavia before, so it was a very interesting experience for me. (see the photo)My friends, Janina and Zygmunt, took me around the oldest part of the capital of Sweden, by the royal Castle; I observed the change of the guard, soldiers in their cute uniforms a military band on  horse back… drums, orders, marching music was heard across the square and of course a lot of tourists from all over the world visiting The Kingdom of SwedenThen we visited center of old Stockholm beautiful on the hill with its buildings crowded together. Streets that curve down,  and on every corner there was something to see—little stores with souvenirs or different useful items for visitors,  live music band, musicians and artists.  Scandinavia was hot this summer. Architecture of the old town strike a visitor with its beauty , and the cleanest streets in Europe. The city invites a traveler with its charm for the next visit.The Gothic Cathedral   which was once  Catholic,  at the present is Protestant from the times of Reformation and conversion of Sweden during the times of Carolus Gustavus Rex .
